Theres a post on Dell’s community site (Direct2Dell) which states that they managed to cross $3 million dollars in revenue via Twitter in around 2.25 years (I am making some inferences here based on their start month of 03/07 on twitter & the month this post was published - 06/09).

And now lets consider their income statements from Google finance. I am making some approximations here (on the lower end) & assuming that they generated ~$122 billion in revenue over these two years.

Again making some approximations (on the upper end) to get some nice rounded numbers, we can see that Twitter generated 0.0025% revenues for Dell.

That doesn’t sound as awesome as Dell generates $3 million on Twitter. Now does it? ;)
